Georgia was depressed because the birth was difficult, and all children born died. Months of half-starvation, and wandering in the desert, and exhaustion also affected.
So by the time she found a home with the people who sheltered her, the body completely passed.
Her nerves also gave out: she tore mattresses and diapers to shreds, gnawed on the grate of the enclosure, and the staff of the animal care center were simply afraid to approach her.
And then three little orphan kittens got to the shelter and everything changed dramatically.
The staff of the center no longer remember who first thought of offering kittens to raise Georgia. And what do you think? The dog calmed down, sniffed the babies – and began to lick them!
to care about them.
