A female dog named Rajah ran away from home after being scared by fireworks fired near her home in Greenville, South Carolina. Interestingly, after a few hours the female dog came home on her own and rang the bell to let her inside. She's a smart one!
Rajah disappeared from home for more than seven hours after being scared off by fireworks
Rajah owner Mary Lynn of Greenville, South Carolina, told South West News Service (SWNS):
Rajah was in the yard with our other dog when suddenly our neighbor started firing fireworks. Rajah got so scared she ran away. We were terrified.
After the incident, 23-year-old Mary Lynn made a Facebook post about her missing 18-month-old pooch. Lynn and her husband Ryan also traveled around, hoping to find their beloved bitch somewhere.
What a smart doggy!
Rajah wasn't in home for 7 hours, and then she returned to her home alone and rang the bell to let her in. This took place on June 27, 2021 at 3 a.m. What a cute doggy!
My husband came home and I was still driving around looking for Rajah. We were ready to call all the hostels and at 3am she just came back alone and rang the doorbell. Mary Lynn admitted.
I have no idea how she knew how to get home. I never taught her that. She also never saw us use the doorbell. Says Mary Lynn.
Family together again
Rajah was a bit dirty after being away for 7 hours, but otherwise nothing happened to her. Now the family is back together and we hope it will never be tested again!
