In the middle of the road, she found a crying little kitten. She moved heaven and earth to find her family

Over the weekend, Katie Long was heading to Mountain View, Arkansas, when she suddenly noticed a little creature screaming in the middle of the road. It turned out that there was a small, wet and scared kitten standing in the street. The woman knew she had to help him.

I stood there in disbelief for a moment. Then we put her out of the way so that we had time to come up with a further plan. – admits Katie Long.

Searching for mom

Katie had a feeling the kitten's mom was somewhere nearby, but when she searched the small town she started to lose hope. Meanwhile, the restless little one completely clung to her – he didn't want to be alone so much.

We walked around trying to find mum, unfortunately without success. When I put the little kitten on the ground, she immediately came back to me crying. It touched me a lot. Says Katie Long.

“They were looking at me like I was crazy”

Katie also went to the local convenience store and asked people eating lunch outside, or maybe they don't know something about lost kitties. Unfortunately, no one knew about them.

They all looked at me like I was crazy. Long said.

After a long time of unsuccessful searching, Katie has finally come to terms with the fact that she will probably have to drop her cat off at a local animal shelter. She was trying to find a facility when suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a man walking to his mailbox. Not knowing why, some inner voice told her that she should come up to him and talk. I ran out of the car with a kitten in my arms. I asked him if he had any idea where her family was. And he said, “Oh yeah, I think Bill's kitten just had kittens!” – says Katie Long.

And soon the cat reunited with her family!

When the cat's mother saw the baby, she was extremely happy that she got her missing child back.

I put her on the ground and my mother immediately started to nurture and feed her. – admits Katie Long.

Katie is extremely happy that the little kitten has returned to her place. She is glad she could help this furry family.
