During the heat, 47 cats living in the car with their homeless owner were found

Rescued 47 cats from a vehicle parked in the heat of Southeast Minnesota. According to Ashley Pudas of the Animal Humane Society, the cats lived in the car with their owner, who had recently become homeless and refused to leave his pets on the street.

It was very hot that day. The man and the cats lived in the vehicle, without access to air conditioning. In the end, the police noticed everything and decided to intervene. Fortunately, despite the heat and unsanitary conditions, most cats only had minor health problems.

All cats were transported to a safe place. The furries were of various ages, from less than a year to 12 years old. On site, each animal was examined by veterinarians. All cats will receive vaccinations, adequate diet, behavioral rehabilitation and castration.

The lives of these 47 animals have changed dramatically. Today, these cats finally have their own space to sleep, play and eat. This is just the beginning of their new life. – informs the shelter.

As soon as the cats are ready, they will be put up for adoption

Despite the extreme heat and unsanitary living conditions, these cats are in relatively good health – although most of them are dehydrated and a little distrustful. Fortunately, their future looks really great now. – adds the shelter.
