When the female pit bull was brought to the shelter, she was shaking. The dog was suffering from scabies, an infection, an eye problem and a very bad smell. The future wasn't in the best shape for her.
She was shaking and hiding all the time
The shelter never even gave this bitch a name. The terrified pup spent most of the time shaking and hiding in its box. One day, however, Audra Spurio came to the facility because she wanted to adopt a canine companion for her 2-year-old daughter named Gigi.
An unexpected moment
The female dog was almost convinced that most visitors to the shelter did not even notice her, but then something amazing happened. The little girl pointed a finger at her and shouted: “Mommy, let's get this!”
The girl approached the trembling bitch and then gently stroked her. Gigi was sympathetic to her. Even though the mother showed her daughter other dogs, the girl was interested only in the pit bull. The shelter decided to take the bitch out of the box so that she could play outside with Gigi.
The couple got on very well right away as they played together for several hours. The Pit Bull was always sticking with Gigi and Gigi kept reminding her mom that this pup needed their help.
Here's Scarlett
The female dog was shaking every time she was separated from Gigi. Her mother decided to adopt the bitch and name her Scarlett. Psinka finally could go to her new home!
In just a week of moving into her new home, Scarlett's health began to improve dramatically! The female dog spent almost every moment with Gigi and never wanted to let her out of sight.
Scarlett soon recovered and grew into Gigi's steadfast companion. This dynamic duo now spends their days playing indoors as well as outdoors! Be sure to watch their full story in the video below. What a lovely ending!
