Rescued 47 cats from a vehicle parked in the heat of Southeast Minnesota. According to Ashley Pudas of the Animal Humane Society, the cats lived in the car with their owner, who had recently become homeless and refused to leave his pets on the street.
The man realized that this situation was already beyond the norms and beyond his own abilities, so he allowed us to step in and help. He lived with the cats in the vehicle for some time. It is noteworthy that when he lost his home, he did not want to leave the animals alone. – admits Ashley Pudas of the Animal Humane Society.
It was very hot that day. The man and the cats lived in the vehicle, without access to air conditioning. In the end, the police noticed everything and decided to intervene. Fortunately, despite the heat and unsanitary conditions, most cats only had minor health problems.
All cats were transported to a safe place. The furries were of various ages, from less than a year to 12 years old. On site, each animal was examined by veterinarians. All cats will receive vaccinations, adequate diet, behavioral rehabilitation and castration.
