When Catey Hall visits her dad, he takes a nap on the couch a lot. However, the man never sleeps alone – the dogs from the neighborhood join him and together they form one comfortable poop.
Favorite of the dogs from the neighborhood
Dad meets, plays and naps with one or more of these dogs every day. They always come running whenever they see his car and follow him inside. He is their real favorite. Says Catey Hall.
He has always loved animals
Catey Hall's dad, Lon Watson, has always loved dogs. The man works with the local Pound on the Hill emergency department to make sure each animal gets the help they need.
My dad saved homeless quadrupeds for as long as I can remember. There was always a dog in our house, and yet there was always a place for another homeless person in need. Now that Dad lives alone with his wife, he has more room for the pets. So she works with the local emergency department and helps find homes for dogs in need. Some of them, however, stay with their dad forever. Says Catey Hall.
Currently, Lon Watson has four dogs in his home, which he rescued and rehabilitated with his wife. However, Hooch, Fluffer-Nutter and Rosie come to visit him every day – the dogs from the area who have a special relationship with the man.
The dogs next door with joyfully waiting to be able to spend time with Watson
The houses are set apart from the street here, so dogs can safely move from one house to the next. Quadrupeds usually hear my dad's car coming and go to his driveway to say hello. – admits Catey.
Fortunately, Watson's human neighbors don't mind their dogs spending so much time with him – and never try to disturb them. Apparently Lon has some magical way to deal with every dog he meets!
