For over a decade, Carla Moore-Williams has had bird baths in her backyard. Many of these feathered creatures live around her, and the woman wanted to create a safe place for them to hang out – and she, in turn, would be able to take amazing photos of them.
An amazing session
One day a little bird stopped in Carla's bath and decided to relax and take a bath. Moore-Williams, of course, took out her camera. She was excited to be able to take some lovely photos.
This bird is one of the large populations of blue-tailed bluebirds we have here. I photograph them every time the opportunity arises. I love taking pictures of these birds because they always make me laugh, especially when they are wet. – says Carla Moore-Williams.
As the blue bird splashed in the water, Carla took some photos – which turned out to be a real hit!
During the bath, the bird splashed so much that the water flew in all directions. So the photos turned out a bit less elegant than Carla had assumed – even goofy and chaotic. Of course, the red-throated bluebird was having a great time and had no idea what funny photos the woman had taken of him. Well, he just couldn't hold back his joy!
Moore-Williams shared the effects of her photo shoot, even though she was not quite sure about the photos. Everyone fell in love with them quickly though!
At first I thought the photos were terrible, but it turned out that they made people laugh a lot. It's great. Carla admitted.
Moore-Williams absolutely loves to photograph all the birds that visit her yard, and they, in turn, love stay with her because they can have a bite, have a bath and just spend their free time there. Birds are not always the easiest subjects to photograph, but at least this creates very interesting and often fun photos.
