Older dogs often suffer from joint pain or muscle problems, which may make it difficult to climb stairs. In many of these cases, house-dwelling dogs only need to live on the ground floor as it is too difficult to climb stairs. One family in South Carolina couldn't stand the thought that their 15-year-old male with hip dysplasia would only have to live on the bottom, so they came up with a brilliant idea to make his life easier.
Special elevator
A 15-year-old male named Jackson suffers from hip dysplasia, which makes climbing stairs impossible for him. So his family decided to install a special elevator for the pet in the house, which takes him from the ground floor to the floor of the house.
On TikTok'u has released a video showing 15-year-old Jackson using his transparent tube-shaped elevator.
When you have 15 years old and you are the best boy ever and your parents install you an elevator in your home. – we read in the description of the video.
Moving without pain
Admittedly, Jackson cannot use the elevator himself because someone has to open the door to him, but it is still a great help. The elevator allows him to go where his beloved family members are, without any pain.
He loves that elevator, it is much easier than taking it up the stairs. – adds Logan Mendicino, mother of the pooch.
